Not up my alley in terms of a vetiver based perfume, but overall is nice and surely unique - you wonât find anything smelling like it. This decant started off strong and fabulous, then not so much. The other notes round of the edges and lend a bit of complexity, but the leather/suede smell is prominent, and very pleasant. I'm not a fan of it. Easily an every day staple. It's a fleeting scent (to be honest, none of my Byredo excel in longevity) but I think bal d'afrique deserves all the hype nonetheless. This made leather scents cool. Very soft but quite unique. Only people with the right nose can appreciate this and in the air everyone will appreciate you for wearing this as it’s definitely a compliment puller. This is nice earthy perfume. It's smell so simple.
